Wise Women met tonight to celebrate Samhain together. It was our first sabbat ritual and we had a great time. We created a ritual to celebrate the Wiccan new year and honor our ancestors.

Samhain is a time of new beginnings. We chose to write down things that we are ready to give up and release to the universe in honor of a new year (such as negative thinking, anxiety, etc.). Once we wrote those things down, we threw them into the cauldron.

Afterwards, we passed around delicious cakes and wine. All in all, it was a great first ritual for our group!
